FlipATicket.com - New From the Creators of BlueBucs.com

FlipATicket.com today announced that it is leading the charge of brokers who have united and said, "Enough is enough!".  Over the course of the last several years, brokers have witnessed drastic changes the ticket industry has undergone; so drastic, in fact, that it is difficult to fully grasp. If you were told five years ago that EI would be purchased by Ticketmaster, or that StubHub would be purchased by eBay, or that TN would morph into a gargantuan network of thousands of brokers, or that Ticket Technology would be bought by StubHub/eBay, or that LiveNation would buy every venue under the sun and ditch Ticketmaster for their own ticketing service, only to merge with Ticketmaster a few months later, would you have believed any of it?  Who could have imagined that all of those things would take place in five short years?
Perhaps a better question would be: How have these changes helped your business?  Let's see...
  •  Fewer places to list your tickets.
  •  Little to no access to other brokers to work trades.
  • Fee after fee after fee after fee piled up on top of you.
  • Policy changes, sometimes daily.
And what is the result of these changes that we have all witnessed? You, the broker, are left holding the short end of the stick, working harder to earn less.  Your choice of places to buy, sell, and trade tickets has been boiled down to making a decision between the lesser of all that is evil.  That's how you grow a business, right?  No, we didn't think so either.
A number of months back, the folks behind BlueBucs.com sat down and started working on ideas of how to counteract the absurdity that has transpired in our industry, and to help brokers regain control over their business and costs.  They poured over so many ideas and options that it is impossible to enumerate, but their brainstorming team always came back to two primary "must do" points:
  •  Control costs for brokers and consumers.
  •  Keep it simple and effective, a la Google.  Read More

* Fewer places to list your tickets.
* Little to no access to other brokers to work trades.
* Fee after fee after fee after fee piled up on top of you.
* Policy changes, sometimes daily.

* Control costs for brokers and consumers.
* Keep it simple and effective, a la Google.

Brokers need to be able to effectively communicate with one another, and consumers need to be able to do a simple search, find the tickets they want, and make a purchase. Neither the broker nor the consumer should be gouged with a litany of fees. Folks are tired of the nickel-and-dime games!

Imagine, if you will..

* No more throwing away thousands (or tens of thousands) of dollars in fees each year.
* No more ridiculous "rules" and policy changes each week that are impossible for anyone (including those imposing them) to keep up with.
* No more bowing to your "master", the ticket exchange. They should work for you, not the other way around!

The solution is FlipATicket.com, a brand new, back-to-basics site for brokers to buy and sell tickets, and retail outlet for consumer sales.

Will FlipATicket be the next StubHub, or EI, or TN? Absolutely not. And we don't want to be! Those guys define "ticket exchange", and "ticket exchange" is the problem that FlipATicket is designed to solve! Rather, the goal is to build a platform designed by, run by, and geared for ticket brokers. A platform that offers you an affordable and effective alternative for listing, buying, and selling tickets. A platform with a simple fee structure so that you don't need to hire an IRS agent to help you figure out how much revenue you just lost.

FlipATicket.com will attract customers who are just as tired as you are of dealing with a "ticket exchange". Customers that will appreciate never having to call the horrendous customer service line of a "ticket exchange", because they can now contact you, the seller, directly. The bottom line is, FlipATicket.com will provide you with more opportunities for sales to customers who are *yours*, and both you and your customer will be paying less fees!

We are currently operating in a beta test, which will run until Monday, February 28, 2011. During the beta test period, all ticket brokers will be able to buy, sell, and trade tickets - free of charge, our way of saying "Thank you!" for helping us work out any bugs and for providing feedback on features and future development ideas. As a special added bonus, during the beta test period, registered brokers will have free limited access to our flagship website, BlueBucs.com (the #1 source of presale and onsale information).

On Tuesday, March 1, 2011, all beta test accounts will be disabled, and broker accounts will be available for a nominal fee. A monthly subscription will be available for $39, or you can save 5% by choosing the annual subscription at a rate of just $444. There will be no additional fees to buy, sell, and trade your tickets on FlipATicket.com.

However, we are offering special discount pricing for those who choose to partner with us during the beta launch period. We have allotted a limited number of FlipATicket memberships at deeply discounted prices. As of this posting, only 25 of these spots are available. They are available only while they last, or until the beta test ends, whichever occurs first. Choose from one of the following:

* Founding Member Lifetime Membership - A one-time fee of $999. Never pay another penny to buy, sell, and trade your tickets on FlipATicket.com.
* Charter Membership - Annual subscription rate of just $365. Yes, you read correctly. Just $1 a day to buy, sell, and trade your tickets on FlipATicket.com, with no additional fees.

Again, these are being offered on a first come, first served basis. They are going fast, and will never again be offered.

Can we compete on sheer volume of sales from day one? No, we can't. But by partnering with FlipATicket.com, we can all work together and slowly but surely take back our industry, one-by-one as brokers decide for themselves: "Enough is enough!"

How you can Promote Your Online Affiliate Marketing Business

Posted on October 20, 2009 | 277 Views

An online affiliate marketing business is a great way to start marketing on the internet. The affiliate business opportunity offers minimal startup costs while allowing you to promote products that already have a proven demand. When you also consider that product distribution and support are not your responsibility it is no wonder that affiliate marketing is regarded as the best business to start online.

An issue that does arise for many when they start marketing their first affiliate products however is how to market them. There are so many different promotional techniques from which to choose that it can be downright confusing. The key to success here is to choose just a few techniques you are comfortable with and focus on them.

Let's look at 5 different techniques you can use to start marketing your affiliate products that have proven to be very effective.

Email Marketing

If you decide to capture names of website visitors on a squeeze page, and you really should, you can now market to them. By staying in contact with this list and periodically promoting products that are related to the one they opt-in for originally you can develop a steady income stream.

Blogging

Setting up a blog that reflects content that is consistent with the niche you are promoting within will allow you to capture subscribers attracted to the blog content. The fundamental difference here is your initial contact is thru their attraction to the free content you offer and not from responding to a promotional ad.

Now it is up to you to develop a relationship with them, get them to trust you and then eventually buy from you. Their comments are also great feedback that can tell you what you are doing right and of course what they may not like.

Article Marketing

This is another way of offering free content that hopefully will attract people to any site you may be directing them to. Submitting articles to online directories will allow you to circulate your content all over the web. It is also a major advantage to having your articles published on sites with very high search engine rankings such as these directories.

This approach does involve an investment of your effort but your articles could conceivably be circulating around the net for quite some time.

Pre Sell Sites

It is always recommended to set up your own site to drive traffic to BEFORE you send them to the main affiliate site. This helps to create your own unique sales funnel and also extends more credibility to you as a marketer.

One recommendation for your site would be a 'pre-sell site' where there are no hard sales attempts directed at the visitor. Your approach here would be to just tempt or remind visitors of some of the benefits they will receive by buying the product on the next page. Hard sales tactics should NOT be used here since the main affiliate page will handle that for you. You are simply getting the visitor into the buying mood.

Review Sites

Another effective and recommended way to set up your own website would be to use it as a review site for the product you are promoting. By objectively sharing your experiences and insights about the product shortcomings and strengths, you can stir up enough curiosity for the visitor to check it out for themselves. Of course if your review reflects the product as being a dud this obviously won't work and you likely wouldn't promote it in the first place?

Using any of the 5 techniques we discussed above to promote your online affiliate marketing business should help you get off to a quick start. Remember that the affiliate business opportunity allows you to concentrate primarily on traffic generation thereby minimizing your startup costs. With that said the key to success here will be your ability to maintain your focus and be patient. Marketing on the internet is not a get rich quick scheme but instead a business that will take a little time to develop for you. If you can maintain the focus and resolve you will soon discover why affiliate marketing is regarded as the best business to start online.

Internet marketing is the fastest way to make extra income, and the easiest way to get started is affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing is the easiest way to get started because you don't need your own merchant account and you don't have to worry about customer service. You don't even have to write the marketing materials - all that is done for you when you promote someone else's product. All you do is drive traffic to your affiliate site and collect your commission.

On Wednesday September 30 from 9 - 10 pm Joanne Musa, a.k.a, the Tax Lien Lady will be giving a free webinar training for her affiliates and beginning internet marketers on Affiliate Marketing.

The title of this Webinar is Internet Marketing 101: How to Choose Good Keywords and Domain Names. In this free Webinar Training she'll show newbee internet marketers how to choose the best key words and domain names to market affiliate products.

You can build the best looking web site but it won't do any good unless it gets viewed by your target audience. And even that won't do you any good unless you have a way of capturing the names and e-mail addresses of those that come to your site. If you use the right domain name and the right keywords, your site will come up more often in the search engines, you'll get more traffic and make more sales.

Here's some things that she'll cover in this training:

*What is the most important thing that your web site needs to do
*What is the best way to get people to your site
*Who is your audience
*How do you build your list
*How to find the best domain name
*What are keywords and how do you use them
*How do you find the best keywords

"I'm also an affiliate marketer," states Ms. Musa. "More than at least half of my income comes from affiliate marketing, so I know that it is a great way to earn income. I also have my own products that I promote online, and I wanted to help my affiliates be more successful, because when they make more money, we all win. I decided to conduct regular affiliate trainings for them - this one will the first. But then it dawned on me that there are a lot of people that want to learn how to make money online and this webinar training is perfect for them too."

How Banner Advertising Can Boost Affiliate Sales

Banner advertising may not be your first thought when building your online marketing strategy. Maybe you feel that it is only effective for large companies, or that that search engines drive more measurable, impactful results. Perhaps the process of setting up banner ad campaigns seems a bit intimidating.

It turns out that banner advertising, especially on third-party networks, is both an easy and accessible way for you to promote your site or business. Here are a few goals that a banner advertising campaign can help you achieve:

Pinpoint and attract the right leads

Many banner advertising networks offer a host of advanced targeting options, including geographical, demographic and site content. They can generate leads from specific locations, target to people who have particular online habits, or show banners on sites whose content appeals to your target audience. These people may not be looking for your business on search engines, but when they see your banner ad on a trusted site, they may take a second look.

Optimize your advertising dollar

Banner advertising has never been more affordable, especially on third-party networks that are able to deliver clicks across a wide range of sites. Look for a network that allows you to pay only per click, and to set your own price. Coupled with the ability to target customers effectively, each click can be both inexpensive and likely to convert.

Reinforce your search campaign with retargeting

Retargeting enables you to show banner ads promoting your site to people who have already visited your site and left. The goal is to convince them to return to your site to complete a transaction.

If you are currently running a search campaign, implementing a retargeting campaign can visually reinforce a visitor's previous brand experience on your site, or remind them why they visited in the first place. Click-through rates on retargeting campaigns are very high, as the audience is already familiar with your site.

Banner advertising is more targeted, effective and affordable than ever before. This is a great time for affiliate marketers to take advantage of banner advertising - to find and convert new leads, stretch their advertising budgets, and reinforce their other marketing efforts. source>>>

Emotionally Charged Affiliate Marketing

As an affiliate marketer, you will always be learning something new, be it designing landing pages, finding new keywords, or finessing your copywriting skills. However, there is one thing that you will learn faster than anything else - your plate will always be full. But, have you considered the emotional pitfalls of your affiliate marketing PPC campaign? More importantly, have you learned how to control those emotions to maximize your profit?

The first emotion many of us experience is the euphoric high. It's the excitement we feel when we get our first click, sale, or profitable day. Naturally it's a feeling we want to maintain on a day-to-day basis. It's a positive feeling, right?

But in affiliate marketing, it can lead to obsessive stats checking and rash judgments. Pat yourself on the back for having a profitable campaign but be sure to call upon your inner Spock before jumping the gun on decisions. You must also prepare yourself for the anxiety of spending money without seeing an immediate ROI. These are the days that we question our place in affiliate marketing altogether. We say to ourselves, "I'm just a noob!", "I'm way over my head!", or, "I'm just wasting my time and money!" Every affiliate marketer must accept that we're simply playing a game of risk and chance.

How do we control our emotions to make sound business and life decisions?

You must remember that every affiliate marketer rides the same emotional roller coaster. Sometimes remembering that you're not alone can be enough to help you focus. Every online marketer has gone through the anxiety of a negative ROI day and every affiliate must learn to adapt to those days. Take comfort in knowing that you aren't alone.

Second, find a physical trigger to help snap your brain back to reality. For example, to stop myself from obsessively checking stats I use Google Lab's " Take a Break", which when activated, logs you out of your Gmail account for a mandatory 15 minutes. While they haven't yet made an application that logs me out of my PPC stats account for 15 minutes (I'm considering forwarding that idea to Google support), it's still a nice idea to carry over. I then mentally assign that action to all applications on my desktop. This forces me to stand, walk away from my desk, take a breather, and center my emotions to help me take the next logical step in my marketing campaign. source>>>

The New Frontier of Affiliate Marketing

Posted on September 16, 2009 | 236 Views

Affiliate marketing is a relatively new industry, having started just over a decade ago.

In that short period of time, it has become a major source of global revenue, continuing to grow at a rapid rate compared to other slumping industries. Describing the way companies work with third parties to sell their products or services online, Affiliate marketing constitutes as much as 20-25% of all e-commerce sales.

Affiliate marketing provides companies with an alternative channel to acquire customers and generate incremental revenue. The beauty of affiliate marketing for e-commerce-empowered companies is that, unlike traditional marketing, online advertisers only pay affiliates based on performance.

For very little upfront investment and risk, companies can work with a team of professional e-marketers to grow their business. Essentially, companies get a remote access sales force that is paid solely based on results. They also have the power to decide what results they are willing to pay the affiliate for, such as new leads or sales.

From an affiliate's perspective, there are many benefits. Affiliates do not need to develop and maintain a product or provide customer service; instead, they can focus their energy and resources on attracting customers and converting sales.

An Alternative Channel to Grow Your Revenue

All products and services available online can benefit from affiliate marketing; however, the most common industries include health and fitness, financial, travel, retail, gaming and software.

Companies can work with affiliates to generate new customer leads or sales in a variety of ways. Products that are easy to sell online might opt for a pay-per-sale program while others might rely on the affiliate partners to generate leads for the sales force to close. Companies can choose what works best depending on the sales process and available resources.

Very few companies use affiliate marketing as their only sales channel. Affiliate marketing is best used with other channels including bricks and mortar retail, direct sales, and resellers. Yet there are some companies that only rely on affiliate marketing for international sales.

Working with Affiliate Networks

Affiliate marketing programs can be set up in two ways: create an individual program or work with an affiliate network. While both require a dedicated strategy and ongoing management, there are pros and cons to each option.

Running an individual affiliate program requires the company to keep in direct contact with the affiliates, maintaining complete control of the program. However, it also requires staffing and managing the program, recruiting affiliates, providing a secure online interface for affiliates to access data feeds and track their performance, and processing the payments to affiliates on a bi-weekly basis (this is the de facto industry standard).

Working through an affiliate network will alleviate some of the burden associated with managing the program. By creating an account with an affiliate network, companies only need to load their products into a catalog and watch the sales roll in. For less effort and cost than running an individual program, an affiliate could be selling the company's product within days. The only downside to working with an affiliate network is limited access to the affiliates.

Optimizing Your Products for Affiliates

Although companies might market products online, it doesn't necessarily mean that using affiliates will be a successful avenue. Since affiliates are only paid for results, they tend to be particular about the types of products they market.

Affiliates will evaluate a product's quality, price, consumer demand, brand awareness, search volume and competing sales offers as well as assessing the product's suitability to their expertise. They will also evaluate whether or not the commission or revenue is going to be worth their investment. Affiliates are very focused on ROI since they have to make the up-front investment to generate a lead or sale before they get paid.

Keep in mind that this ROI varies depending on the type of marketing the affiliate uses to generate a lead or sale. Affiliates use a number of e-marketing methods to attract customers but the most common are content based websites, pay-per-click advertising and email campaigns. While content based websites and email are generally lower cost, an affiliate who uses pay-per-click is going to generate a higher volume of sales more quickly but expect a higher return on investment.

As with any new marketing program, a company needs to determine if affiliate marketing is right for its business, and give it enough time and investment to succeed. source>>>

Not only can users with administrator access set up their own network-wide alerting and blocking thresholds, but they can also assign custom thresholds for individual affiliates, keeping the fraud detection from getting in the way of trusted partners.

"It is exceptionally intuitive," said HasOffers CTO Lee Brown, when asked to comment on the much-anticipated release of Fraud Score™. "I know that features like this and our new email system, Mail Room™, will continue to push HasOffers ahead of the pack." source>>>

Affiliate marketer uncertainties over the SmartLive Casino affiliate program may have been allayed by a further statement from the new management this week following the sudden departure of the last md recently.

In the latest development, the most important information for affiliates was that although the SmartLive affiliate program remains suspended for the next couple of months at least, existing affiliates will continue to receive commissions on players they have directed to the site.

mainstreet Casino Affiliate Program

The Smart Live statement reads: "....during the closure period, existing affiliates will continue to be paid for the revenue generated by existing customers referred. Each one of our affiliates will be provided with a specific report showing all the values and the amount of updated commissions as soon as the program is live again.

"We are honouring our Lifetime revenue commissions and have no intention to renege on this. It is just that whilst we are sorting out the issues affiliates will not be able to view statistics.

"Finally as a gesture of good will once we are 100 percent confident that everything is stable with the program, we will be ready to reward all existing affiliates with an increased flat rate of 40 percent commissions on net revenues for the first 2 months once we re-launch the program. We hope that this clarifies our situation and looking forward to seeing you all again soon when we have better news!"

The statement makes no comment on the Income Access denial that it had been responsible in any way for the SmartLive affiliate glitches. source>>>
